Important Notice
This document outlines the principal risks associated with the AIX token, the AIX ecosystem,
and digital assets in general. Acquiring, holding, or using AIX tokens involves substantial risk.
You should carefully consider the following factors before participating.
This disclosure is not exhaustive. Risks not described here may also materially affect
your use of AIX. If you are uncertain about any aspect, consult an independent legal,
financial, or tax advisor before proceeding.
1. Token Value Risk
The market value of AIX tokens is determined by supply and demand on decentralized exchanges
and is subject to extreme volatility. The price of AIX may fluctuate significantly within short
periods, and you may lose some or all of the value of your holdings.
AIX is a utility token designed for ecosystem access. It is not designed or intended to serve
as a store of value, medium of exchange, or investment vehicle. There is no guarantee that AIX
tokens will maintain any particular value, and the token may become illiquid or worthless.
2. Smart Contract Risk
AIX operates through smart contracts deployed on BNB Smart Chain. While these contracts have
been developed with care and may undergo third-party audits, no audit eliminates all risk.
Smart contracts may contain undiscovered vulnerabilities, logic errors, or be subject to
exploits that could result in partial or total loss of funds.
Once deployed, smart contract behavior is governed by the code itself. Certain operations may be
irreversible, and the development team may not be able to recover lost or misallocated tokens.
3. Blockchain and Network Risk
BNB Smart Chain, like all blockchain networks, may experience congestion, node failures,
consensus issues, hard forks, or protocol-level changes that could affect the functionality
or accessibility of AIX smart contracts. Network fees (gas) may increase significantly during
periods of high demand.
Cross-chain bridges, if utilized in the future, introduce additional risks including bridge
exploits, delayed confirmations, and potential fund loss during transit.
4. Strategy Performance Risk
The AIX ecosystem provides a marketplace for AI-generated quantitative trading strategies.
All strategies listed in the ecosystem — whether AI-verified or community-submitted — carry
inherent risks. Past performance, backtested results, and simulated returns do not
guarantee future results.
Strategies may underperform, produce losses, or fail entirely due to changing market conditions,
model degradation, data quality issues, or unforeseen events. Users who subscribe to or
follow strategies do so at their own risk.
AI verification ratings reflect model-assessed quality signals (Sharpe ratio, drawdown, overfit
index, etc.) at a point in time. These ratings are informational, not recommendations, and
may change or become outdated without notice.
5. Liquidity Risk
AIX token liquidity depends on decentralized exchange pools and market makers. There is no
assurance that sufficient liquidity will exist to buy or sell AIX tokens at any given time
or price. Low liquidity may result in significant slippage or inability to execute trades.
Tokens subject to vesting schedules cannot be transferred or sold until they are released
according to the smart contract terms.
6. Regulatory and Legal Risk
The legal status of digital assets, utility tokens, and decentralized finance varies across
jurisdictions and is evolving. Regulatory actions — including token classifications, exchange
restrictions, taxation requirements, or outright prohibitions — may adversely affect the
value, usability, or legality of AIX tokens in your jurisdiction.
It is your sole responsibility to determine whether your acquisition, holding, or use of AIX
tokens complies with the laws and regulations applicable to you. The AIX team does not provide
legal, tax, or regulatory advice.
7. Wallet and Custody Risk
You are solely responsible for the security of your private keys and wallet credentials.
Loss of private keys results in permanent, irreversible loss of access to your AIX tokens.
The AIX team cannot recover private keys, reset passwords, or reverse blockchain transactions.
Phishing attacks, malware, social engineering, and SIM-swap attacks represent ongoing threats
to digital asset holders. Always verify URLs, contract addresses, and transaction details
before confirming any operation.
8. Project Development Risk
The AIX ecosystem is under active development. Features described in the whitepaper,
roadmap, or other materials represent planned objectives and are not guarantees. Development
timelines may shift due to technical challenges, resource constraints, market conditions,
or strategic pivots.
While the team is committed to transparent communication, there is no guarantee that all
planned features will be delivered, or that the final product will match current descriptions.
9. Governance Risk
AIX governance is designed to transition toward community-driven decision-making. Governance
proposals may alter protocol parameters, fee structures, emission schedules, or operational
policies. Governance outcomes may not align with your individual preferences or expectations.
Token-weighted governance systems may be influenced by large holders. Participation in
governance does not guarantee that your votes will affect outcomes.
10. Tax Risk
Token acquisition, vesting, swapping, staking, and disposal may trigger taxable events
in your jurisdiction. Tax treatment of digital assets is complex and varies by region.
You are responsible for calculating, reporting, and paying any taxes owed in connection
with your use of AIX tokens.
11. No Advice or Recommendation
Nothing on the AIX website, in the whitepaper, in community channels, or in any materials
published by the AIX team constitutes financial advice, investment advice, trading advice,
or any other form of professional recommendation. All information is provided for general
informational purposes only.
You should conduct your own research and consult independent advisors before making any
decisions related to AIX tokens or the AIX ecosystem.
12. Acknowledgment
By using the AIX website, acquiring AIX tokens, or interacting with AIX smart contracts,
you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Risk Disclosure, that you accept
the inherent risks described herein, and that you assume full responsibility for your
participation in the AIX ecosystem.
